Starts scanning for Bluetooth LE peripherals advertising the specified service UUID.

This starts a foreground service, which posts a notification while running. The notification content and appearance can be customized as described at: https://developer.lastlock.com/docs/api/link-mobile-sdk-android#foreground-service-notification

Discovery events are delivered to any registered BlueLinkEventListener without duplicate filtering. Each advertisement packet may trigger a callback, so the same device can be reported multiple times.

Parameters

UUID

The service UUID to scan for, as a string. Defaults to FC5A.
